CONNECT TO THE CACI NETWORK USING VPN

CONNECTING
- Connect to CACI:
- Systems with 56k modems or
ISDN must connect to the internet via Dial-up Networking. Go to
step #2.
- Systems with DSL or cable
modems are usually connected to the internet, so no additional action is
necessary. Skip to step #3.
- Dial your ISP, or use IPass
to obtain a Dial-up connection.
- Launch the VPN client by clicking Start > Programs
> CACI, Inc, VPN Client > VPN Dialer.
- Click the Connect button at the VPN Dialer window.
- Enter your Username.
- Enter your Passcode (PIN+
6-digit RSA tokencode).
- Click OK
- You are connected to the CACI network. The CACI
VPN icon appears in your PC's system tray. The icon is a yellow lock
with the CACI logo above it.
WHAT NEXT?
Your PC is now connected to the CACI internal network. You are now able
to access resources on the CACI network such as file shares and the
intranet. Continue to the next section to disconnect from the CACI network
and create a desktop shortcut for the VPN dialer.
DISCONNECTING
- Right-click on the CACI VPN icon in your PC’s
system tray
- Select the Disconnect.
- Terminate your phone connection if you are using a 56k
modem or ISDN.
CREATING A DESKTOP
SHORTCUT
- With the VPN client disconnected, click Start >
Programs > CACI, Inc, - VPN Client > VPN Dialer.
- Select the Options button.
- Select Create Shortcut from the menu. A shortcut
icon will be created on your PC's desktop.
