How do I know what to encrypt?

CIS has put together some guidelines to help define what types of data needs protection. Always exercise caution with data and place it in within your My Documents folder if you are unsure of its value. There are three data classification guidelines to assist employees in deciding the value of a document

1. High Business Impact (HBI)

2. Moderate Business Impact (MBI)

3. Low Business Impact (LBI)
